As a Personal Care Aide, you play a vital role by working directing with your assigned child to apply their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives to foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.

Compensation

• This is a part-time position.
• Paid hourly at $13.79

Location/Hours

• CenClear’s Preschool Center (Class 20) located in Philipsburg, PA 15857
• Position working Monday-Friday 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.
• This position works approximately 175-180 days a year (primarily during the school year).

Responsibilities

• Work with children aged 3 to 5
• Help implement IEP goals and objectives for children
• Adapt classroom settings to accommodate individual needs
• Support children in the classroom to ensure a positive learning environment
• Encourage and teach independence and self-help skills
• Escort children to and from the classroom
• Completes and submits paperwork within the required timeframes

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience working with young children
• Documented good physical health
• Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate

Physical Requirements

• Reach overhead.
• Lift and carry objects over fifty (50) pounds.
• Stand for extended periods of time with reasonable breaks.
• Walk and stand for periods of over one hour.
• Climb stairs.
• Stoop to move objects.
• Bend to reach objects from the floor.
• Use sweeper and other cleaning apparatus (push and pull).
• Operate a motor vehicle.
• Climb ladders and steps.
• Operate power equipment according to guidelines.
• Vision and hearing within normal limits.
